My Favorite Things: Gift Guide Part 1

It is that time of year again!

and so, I wanted to share some of my current favorite things that have everything to do with helping you & your loved ones live Healthy & Happy. I’ll be sharing some favorite for the Fitness Junkie soon as well so be on the look out.

  1. GoWise USA Air Fryer: I have gotten A LOT of questions on my Air Fryer (due to my whole chicken instagram videos) so here it is folks. Do not be intimidated by this guy, the size really isn’t too large (my friends tell me this when they see it) and simply, think of it as a quick oven. Store it on your countertop, in the pantry or the bottom of the basement stairs like I do. Use for veggies, proteins, shrimp, chicken, potatoes, even eggs I’ve heard. Great kitchen staple to get food on the table quick.

  2. Half Baked Harvest Cookbook: If you do not know Half Baked Harvest and the amazing Tieghan, you are missing out! Follow on instagram and get inspired. Her insanely delicious recipes I enjoy making and of course, eating. I make one of her recipes, every week or so and they never disappoint. I love this book because she gives instant pot and crock pot directions with the majority of the recipes. Not to mention the food photography is beautiful.

  3. KeepCup Mug: I started using this mug a few months ago and loving it as I highly prefer to drink out of of glass than metal, plastic or styrofoam (gross). Coffee, tea or water, I use this for everything. It is BPA free, durable, tough, microwavable safe, and eco-friendly. You do have to hand wash it but that literally take 30 seconds, so totally worth it. Only downer is it doesn’t keep thinks as hot as the metal ones but the taste wins it for me, as I’ll just warm it back up.

  4. THE ScanPan: My brother-in-law was in town this past week and after using my pans a few times, wanted to know what brand they were (he loved them). And I love these non-stick pans too! I have had them over 5 years and they are still like brand new. One of the scan pans are always on our stovetop ready to fry or sauté up protein, veggies, eggs or plantains. I sware by these, GET THEM!

  5. Spiralizer 5 Blade Slicer: This helps bring some variety, nourishing and a little fun into the kitchen and my meals. You can spiralize a TON of produce, pears, apples, zucchini, potatoes, onions, peppers etc. etc. Follow @Inspiralized or check out her cookbook for additional ideas.

  6. Ninja Blender & Daily Harvest Smoothies: Sometimes I am just not in the mood to eat and would much rather drink something, aka it’s smoothie time! I have had this affordable and durable blender for 5 years and does a perfect job blending my nutrient-dense, real food smoothies up. Daily harvest is my go-to for smoothies, get $25 off on my here. I go for the lower sugar smoothies then add in protein and even more nutrient goodness. My favorites are: Cacao Mint, Blueberry Hemp, Coldbrew Almond and Pinapple Matcha. I add 2% and Oatly Oat milk to them as well as flax meal, hemp seeds, and plain greek yogurt.

  7. Eco-Friendly Finds: This past year my kitchen, lunch bag and grocery cart have become more eco friendly and we need more of these. STASHER is a go-to gift for friends and family as we need to continue to move away from plastic bags. I also do this with my Reusable Mesh Tote Bags for produce. Simply leave them in your car with grocery bags and say good bye to the plastic produce bags. Lastly, as you can see, I am decreasing my plastic use in my life and my lunchbox with Reusable Utensils, It would be much more beneficial for you to decrease you plastic bag/utensil/straw usage then stop eating a food group :-)
